Dark brightness and bright darkness

The performance explores the profound themes of light and darkness, existence and nonexistence, and the universal experience of searching for purpose amidst the chaos of life.
I use a costume and an object—a surrealist lantern—which serves as both a stage for my performance and a sculptural extension of Bright Darkness and Dark Brightness. This lantern-cage holds candle souls, suspended in the act of melting and transforming into a cascading wax waterfall.
Performed next to the Untermainbrücke, Frankfurt am Main, as part of the event „Candles” at the Andres Gorzycki invitation for the ”Cards” project.
